The Convergence of Thought and Clash of Ideas

The ability to hold two opposing viewpoints at once is a function of high intellect and non-prejudice.

For instance, I can say “Everyone Should be Vaccinated” and “No One Should Be Forced to Be Vaccinated” and that is not a contradiction. I believe everyone should be vaccinated but it’s everyone’s choice to be vaccinated and it’s not up to me to dictate that.

I believe in free will.

I’m in the “I’ll Do Me, You Do You” camp of intellectual thought.

That sneaky thought of “Free Will” is the most vexing thing this American Experiment has ever created. Our “Founders” actually had the temerity to write it into the Constitution of the United States in that summer of 1776 in a sweat ridden hot house in Philadelphia.

They even credited God. Our Creator. How Quaint of Them. To think that God created a being with unalienable rights? In His Image nonetheless! These “men” of the “enlightenment” actually thought people could decide for themselves their fate! And that Kings should go pound sand. How impetuous!

And here we are 246 years later still arguing over the primacy of individual choice. Those in power demanding, stomping their little feet and passing edicts to punish those who don’t agree. Those “stupid” people who believe in the primacy of their own minds, the sovreingty of their own bodies. Those simple minded people who don’t want drugs pumped into their bodies without their consent.

I’m vaccinated and boosted. I didn’t make that choice out of fear, I calculated the odds. I’m 64 years old. My “odds” are different than a 32 year old. I knew walking into that it would not prevent me from getting the VID, but it might lessen the severity and I did it out of my own choice, my own precaution.

But I do know this…if anyone said to me “Get vaxxed or you cannot work, you cannot have an income, you can never go to a restaurant or a bar or any social gathering with your family or friends” I’d probably say “I have a large metal bar to shove up your dumb ass.”

I don’t do well with ultimatums. And we’re finding most Americans and now, we’ve learned, most Canadians don’t either.

You better dine me well and show me some pretty fine jewelry and a hefty money market account with my name on it before you start making demands. I ain’t the kind of girl that comes cheap.

And here we are, reminiscent of 1776, with a bunch of Canadian Truckers showing the biggest Huevos I’ve ever seen in my lifetime! These sweaty, stinky working stiffs showing more balls than ANY politician we have worldwide. Brussels has joined in, New Zealand has joined in, American Independent Truckers are joining in. A full one half and more of the American people are joining in.

Who knew Truckers would lead a Revolution? But it’s completely appropriate because it was farmers at Lexington and Concord that kicked off the American Revolution not the “Intellectuals” or Harvard Graduates or CNN.

And it’s great sport to watch the “intellectual elites” and the “pundits” fall all over themselves because they can’t actually understand a real people’s revolution. They deluded themselves with Anti-Fa and Black Lives Matter. No children, this is not a made up money scam, this is just average people getting it on because they are tired of bullshit. They didn’t come to the table with a fake made-up grievance, they were handed a Whopper sized grievance by stupid politicians who thought they were better than everybody else. And they saw that hypocrisy and it pissed them off.

I’m proud of the Canadian Truckers!

The American Revolution lead to the French Revolution. It lead to so many countries of human beings demanding their God-given rights. It inspired a World. Now the Canadian Truckers have given us back our voice and given voice to all people. My heart loves them and aches for them.

As Moses said to Pharoah “Let My People Go.”
